I moved to Ohauiti, Tauranga, in the beautiful Bay of Plenty from Auckland in 2018 and haven’t looked back. What a special location!
When not in the dog grooming studio, you will find me dabbling in a touch of DIY around the house, hanging out with my furry whānau and working alongside the RRR Canine team.
Rescues have a strong place in my heart and I continue to use my spare time volunteering where needed.
It was through fostering that I have my 2 wonderful dogs, Blue and Lilly.
Blue is my Staffy X rescue.
She came to me as a foster at 5 weeks old with her 2 sisters. When a potential adopter came to meet her sister, I realised that Blue had already found her home.
She’s almost 2 years old now, and is definitely keen on meeting all of our canine client’s owners. She’s a real people dog, and has that noticeable staffy butt wiggle when she meets you that makes you smile.
Lilly is my Lab/Greyhound X rescue.
Her story was a little different.
Lilly was in the Taupō pound, estimated to be a year old. She had 5 pups with her and was needing to find somewhere ASAP to avoid a sad fate. Once her pups were weaned, they got adopted very fast.
Lilly won my heart and has become a permanent member of this family.
